Virtual Air Book can assist you in providing detailed housing information and custom
graphics capability. Browing the map requires registration to our site, which is
free of charge. Access to the detailed information and enhanced functionality of
the site requires a subscription.
Enhanced useage
Virtual Air Book allows subscription users access to our enhanced
features like subdivision overlays, custom labels, and custom drawing tool.
View Overlays
Select an overlay from the dropdown menu and click the "Overlay
selected Shapefile" button. This will place the shapes over the areas defined by
the overlay selected.
Labels
There are 3 label methods available. The first is "Show ALL Labels",
which will automatically place labels for each shape on the screen.
The "Turn ON Display Labels" allows you to place only the labels you want displayed.
Using the mouse, right click at any point inside a shape and the label for that
shape will be placed. If you have the "Use Custom Label" option checked, the text
you have typed into the box next to the checkbox will appear at the clicked position.
This allows you to place your own text at any location on the screen.
Custom Drawing
Selecting the "Draw on Map" button allows you to place a custom
polygon on the map using your mouse. When active, select the points for your polygon
by using the right mouse button. For the last point, select it by clicking the right
mouse button. This tells the application to end the polygon drawing process. Multiple
polygons can be placed. |
